It’s easy to remember, it tells you who’s in the kitchen, and it indicates where we’re located – not bad for three little words.

This restaurant and chocolate lounge – a unique concept – is my home away from home, and you are my welcome guests. I want you to feel comfortable and enjoy the experience of being here as much as you enjoy your appetizers, entrees, desserts and beverages. Come in, sit down, relax and let us entertain you – with a great meal, a convivial atmosphere, and affordable prices.

What kind of food do we serve? There’s no one label to describe it. I have been inspired by many cooking styles and regions during my more than 35 years as a chef, and they all show up at one time or another. Our menus change daily, with selections based on what’s fresh, in season, and available. You’ll see dishes that reflect French and Italian influences, Cajun and Creole influences, Deep South influences, Asian influences and, of course, Northern Michigan influences, among others, all prepared to showcase the quality ingredients that go into them and let their flavor and freshness shine through.

Not surprisingly, you’ll see many variations on chocolate as soon as you walk in the door – after all, we are also a chocolate lounge! From intriguing warm and cold chocolate drinks from the bar to a display case of tempting handmade confectionery from my other venture, Chocolate Exotica, as well as several decadent chocolate desserts.
